Flying a drone inside
Target Darts are an established dart manufacturer sponsoring events and some of the world’s leading players on every continent, from the UK, through Europe and North America and throughout South East Asia and Japan. I was asked to provide the drone footage for their recent film. From 48secs - 1:30 flying inside and outside of their UK depot. I look forward to visiting their other premises in 2018!
Flying inside can create added complications. The steel construction of the building blocks the GPS Signal and it is harder for the drone to maintain its position. Both the drones I use are fitted with Vision Positioning Sensors which do make it easier for most pilots to control the drone inside when there is a lack of assistance from the GPS. However I am able to achieve the smoothest of shots with the GPS and VPS deactivated. The Following promotional film for Rivervale in Brighton demonstrates this well:
